Charles Smith National Sales Consultant

Charles is a native Floridian born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business Communications from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL in 1988 and immediately ventured to New York City to pursue a career in marketing.

For the next 10 years, Charles excelled in account management and new business development in New York and Chicago at the Howard Marlboro Group, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising's promotional arm in the U.S., which eventually became known as HMG Worldwide. He specialized in retail merchandising and point-of-purchase displays, helping numerous consumer goods companies maximize opportunities at the point-of-sale where most buying decisions are made.

To broaden his marketing skills, Charles returned to school and attended the Babock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University receiving his Master's in Business Administration in 2000. He spent several years on the client side working for large, consumer brand companies as Assistant Product Director at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in Jacksonville, FL and Brand Manager at Porter-Cable/Delta in Jackson, TN.

His strong desire to return to Northeast Florida allowed Charles to return to the service industry working for a premier magazine fulfillment and database marketing company, Palm Coast Data. Overseeing the technical group in the Membership division, Charles helped clients manage their relational databases and facilitated direct marketing efforts to boost membership and revenue. This experience paved the way for his current role at Midlantic Marketing Solutions, Inc. Charles' broad-based marketing expertise, sales ability and account management skills are a good fit to provide the level of service and professionalism that Midlantic Marketing Solutions' clients have grown to expect.

Charles is a family man who enjoys the beach and working in his yard. His wife, Gretchen, helps local businesses as Communications Manager at the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce. Charles and Gretchen have nine-year-old twins, CHase and Caroline, who attend Rymfire Elementary School in Palm Coast.
